The Bachelor
The season finale of the Bachelor may have shocked some, but those searching the Internet for spoilers were not surprised. Why? Let’s just say there was a blogger who had the scoop weeks ago!
A lot of the viewers are angry at how things turned out. For those who don’t know, Melissa got proposed to. Then Jason dumped at her at the After the Rose ceremony and began dating Molly. The show then did a second After the Rose airing last night. The second one didn’t do much, but ABC had planned a better evening than we got. Melissa should have been there to let us know how she was handling things, instead she was so upset with the way things had happened to her she gave the show the finger and sent them a letter.
It’s all in a few months of entertainment…..do I feel bad for Melissa? Not so much. I agree she could have been dumped in a much better, private setting. However, she signed the contracts. She went on the show. She proceeded to share her dating relationship with nation audiences. So when the whole affair ended on national television, was it that horrible or is it karma?
Much luck to Molly and Jason. Jason could have been nicer but then again, why? To those stabbing his parenting, shut up. For real. In reality there are single parents all over the United States that actively date. If you think a relationship is serious your kids know who you are dating. There are relatively few single parents that shelter their kids from ALL of their dates. Jason didn’t rush Ty in for an afternoon at the pool with twenty five women. He let him meet three women throughout the course of this show, in both seasons.
Single parents as a whole, have let their children meet more than one significant other that turned out not to be “the one.” It’s not that big of a deal so stop blowing it out of proportion because your mad at him.
